my brother introduced me to the world of nuzlocke's. this is what im fucking talking about baby.

 

I have absolutely no idea what my team is gonna be. Usually I make teams out of entirely new pokemon but this gen has a bunch of my favourites from prior gens and I only ever build teams that don't repeat the same type twice. Why are there so many cool ghost types help

you can get mints early on in the game after a certain gym, you don’t need to ev train, you can get protein and all the other training items for much cheaper than they’ve ever been, it’s easier to craft tms later in the game and raid dens are really important later on as well

ive been thinking about nothing but this game for the past week and a half. now im just counting down minutes, same feeling i got as a kid waiting for midnight on christmas eve.

 

honestly THE way to play a lot of the older pokemon games. its whats kept me going back to those games multiple times, provides a challenge and forces you to use pokemon you might not have used before. thats one thing i think is missing with the new games, with no random encounters, there's no replacement for nuzlocke catching rules.

very similar to mine, definitely the first three. girafarig evo and pepper are both v enticing to me as well

 

As per every three or four years, having fomo from not going to the release event where they give out cool stuff and feeling crappy about it lol oh well

 

Earlier today I text my fiancé “I wish I could actually pick up the game tonight” and her response was “you would not be able to stay up that late” and she’s right

 

My fiancé wanted me to see if there was a midnight release and I told her I would be in bed already

Random but crown zenith looks amazing, weird that it’s not out till next year though

 

Kind of bummed I don’t like any of the new designs. I usually try to use a team of all new mons. But some regional forms and evolutions are cool I guess.

 

This game is going to be 50/50. I'll enjoy playing some of the new designs, but I'll REALLY enjoy going through Paldea with some of my old favorites.

 

I decided to stop talking to my only friends who play these games and only now realized I should’ve waited until we did the playthrough together lol dammit, welp
