-trainers do not have to enter their user/pass after for force logout

Currently at 70 caught, 71 seen. Couldn't care less about the gym battles yet tbh, don't like the prestige system so much. If I beat it, I deserve to take it, dammit!

 

I'm only at 50/52.

I've walked 42 km already. Yeesh.

 

funny that it's in km instead of miles

 

Why's that? We are the only fools stuck on it.

 

that's why it's funny! because none of us americans even really know how far a km is, haha

 

1) That pikaboo is the best spin on pikachu they've come up with yet
2) Glad one of the first fixes was the constant log in issue
3) I'm at 51 caught/52 seen with the only one getting away from me was an abra (still salty)
4) I think it would be cool if they partner with fit bit or something so that we could count steps if/when they decide to make it so the game can just run in the background

 

i think making the game an odometer defeats the purpose of it, which is to get you moving and exploring the real world. if it was based on steps it becomes much easier to cheat the system without actually exploring

also holy shit that 1800 lapras i talked about earlier just got taken out and now there's a 490 CP hypno there from instinct?? wtf

 

I don't think it defeats the purpose, I just think it be cool to be able to get mileage for running on the treadmill at the gym. Still promotes the active lifestyle that the game is going for. Plus it's not like it would would impact the exploring for Pokemon aspect, just make it easier to keep track of the travel/hatching eggs. Idk it won't happen anyways lol

 

Also I have yet to come across a single pikachu and it's kind of annoying.

 

Pikachu ran from me immediately.

Pokemon Go not only makes us Americans go outside, but it is teaching us the metric system.

 

Pikachu came out in a heavily wooded area for me. I also got a squirtle right afterwards. I have not seen anything like them since. STILL looking for a Charmander.

They are hard to evolve though since they are so rare. Same story with Bulbasaur.

Do we know if some pokemon only exist in certain regions of the country? That would be cool but also very painful.

 

I think its because the CPU is not that good of a "fighter" AND the fighting is really just all about constantly punching the screen. Its not really "skill"

Also, maybe as a compromise on the whole mileage thing, the developers should give you reduced credit for running/walking in place but still SOME credit. If I am on a treadmill or riding a bike really fast, I should get to hatch my damn eggs!

 

i've seen like five or six squirtles in the wild and caught all of them except one. really wish i'd seen a charmander or pikachu too though...

 

I started with Bulbasaur. And haven't seen any others. I saw one Squirtle and ran out of balls trying to catch it. It was just on a Main Street next to a church. I haven't seen a Charmader or Pikachu though.

I saw a Raichu at a gym downtown here which was pretty sweet.

 

I saw a Nidoqueen at a gym like 30 minutes after downloading the app day 1. What are you talking about I'm not salty

 

Just got a 400 Fearow in my living room while watching tv. Best catch all day. Even after about an hour of walking around my neighborhood.

 

I've caught a few bulbsaurs and even an ivysaur, started with charmander, and haven't seen a squirtle, very frustrating.

Also I heard if you walk away from the three starters at the beginning of the game, you could get a pikachu

 

Left a 1200cp Arcanine at a gym by my office after taking it over and some dude took it from me ten minutes later with a 350cp Fearow smh

 

Is there not a way to switch Pokemon during a fight or between levels at the gyms? Am I missing it?

 

saw a charmander silhoutte but could not find him at all, it was really sad
