Pokemon Go public test was datamined. Only Gen 1 pokemon so far

I assumed such from the original trailer. They usually include a wide variety of Pokemon in trailers if the game covers more than one gen. Showing only show Gen 1 critters was off to me. The app is most likely directed at fans who grew up with the original and abandoned the series shortly after and appeal to their nostalgia factor.

 

playing through blue and gold right now. my copy of blue is in japanese so i cant really pick up items

 

I really like Pokken, but why they decided to only have 16 playable characters, with two of those being Pikachu is just mind boggling to me.

 

id say 16 characters is pretty good for a first installment of a fighting game, and most fighting games i can think of have a clone character.

 

Yeah but there's so many different Pokemon to choose from... I also hate Pikachu so maybe I'm just biased.

 

haha i actually like pikachu libre, barely ever play as the regular pikachu. im also very privileged with this game because my two favorite pokemon (blaziken and chandelure) are in the roster.

 

Pikachu having the Stone Cold Stunner is an incredible thing.

 

Do you like them in the game though? I was happy when Sceptile(one of my favourite Pokemon) was announced for the game. But Sceptile has to be one of my least favourites to use in Pokken sadly.

 

im not very good with chandelure, but ive been loving blaziken.

 

Lucha Pikachu is the best option for me. Blaziken was p good too.

 

i liked weavile a lot too.

Blaziken is probably my favourite in Pokken.

Wii U sells went up by 151% on the Pokken release week, so you're not the only one that wants one just for this game lol.

 

Can't believe none of y'all have talked about how dope Machamp is.

 

It's worth it for Pokken and Smash alone.

Literally the only games I've played on my Wii U are Pokken, Smash and Mario Kart. I've played those games so much that it was worth it though.

 

I hate using Machamp, have never been a fan of slow characters in fighting games.

 

I hate grappling characters. I'm poor at defense when it comes to slow guys, so I get wrecked.
