I don't think it's an exaggeration to say this is looking like the Pokemon game we've all dreamed of since we were kids. It's the one I've wanted since playing Red/Blue in 1998. This is it.

That was Arceus for me tbh

 

Arceus was really a trial run for this though. Like this has all those systems but put into an open-world game with the gym challenge and everything. This is really what I dreamed of playing the OG games back in the day.

 

Feel like people said this for Sw/Sh and Arceus too.

 

Yeah and I don't know why they did, personally. This seems to be the actual open-world gym challenge Pokemon game with roaming Pokemon and real-time catching mechanics that has been the dream for years.

because i'm making my wife play violet so we can trade and shit. can't wait.

 

They’re good at cute guys in this art style. Everything else is ugly.

Apparently this is the first time, excluding remakes, since GOLD AND SILVER that Venonat is available in the regional dex.

 

Wonder if it could be a candidate for a new regional evo?
