so they’re all in the game and available after you beat it and unlock things or trade with another game in that generation. But running around at first it’s just gens 1 and 2.

i'm playing through ultra moon for the first time. i think i would like this a lot more if i didn't get interrupted by an annoying cutscene every time i enter a new area. what the hell were they thinking

 

The cut scenes killed any possible replayability the sun/moon games had. So annoying.

 

Fire Red/Heart Gold/Black and White were probably my favorite games, but I haven't played all of the generations. Arceus has been really fun and its worth it if you have a Switch around.

 

My brother has a Switch that he is selling but he's put it on eBay and someone has bought it a few days ago

 

HGSS were my favorite games until I eventually played Emerald

For someone who likes Gen 1, I’d recommend Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee if you can get around to it. Exploring Kanto with the updated graphics is worth it.

 

Seconding HGSS and Emerald being my two all-time favorites

I think it looks pretty legit and lines up with the way concept art has been drawn for the last few generations.

If it’s real then it’s already a better design than any of Gen 8’s final starter evos lol.

I like Rillaboom but it’s still pretty safe.

 

If the new evolution that "leaked" is any indication, they are both very fake. Water type fake is baaaaaad.

Water type is most likely a copy cat due to the recent fire type leak.

I still think the fire type is probably legit

 

The more I see the fire one, the more I'm on bored with it. Fairy is my fave type, so fire/fairy is cool. I really prefer dual typings for the starters.

 

Have a fear the fire type leak will be fake because the real one will be nowhere near as good. It’s like a perfect concept.
