forgot i never caught an Eevee; only could find one in the Horseshoe Plains and it's only lvl 5
it'll take a while for it to catch up to the rest of my team and i don't know if i have the patience for this kind of grinding. i just really want an Umbreon...

 

is there any other way to get the various stones needed to evolve Eevee or can i only get them through that item exchange?

 

Space-Time distortions have them lying around on the ground, and ursaluna can find them too!

 

ah, excellent thank you! haven't been able to get to a space time distortion yet, the only two i saw were both on the other side of a river i can't cross yet

 

I find you can grind up guys pretty quick with the shared EXP, and you need to throw him at like 160 rocks for happiness to max out anyway, it’s not a bad grind.

 

You can get all the stones through tumblestones if you try hard enough. The water, thunder and fire stone should be the easiest to get once you’ve gotten to a certain part of the game.

 

What’s the most “Pokémon” Pokémon design there is? If you were to show someone the design they would instantly know it’s a Pokémon.

 

How is it not pikachu?

 

Pikachu is most iconic. What screams “Pokémon” at me would be the designs for Lapras, Dragonite, and Arcanine.

Simple, animalistic, and cute.

You can get for stones from tumblestone ore. I think I’ve gotten water and thunder stone from catching/battling Pokémon.

He did a drawing tutorial (maybe a year ago) about how Pokémon don’t have to have an exact form or style, they have unlimited possibilities and then he drew vanillish.

These always come to mind, kens original drawing will always be the most special to me. I wish they brought this style back but tech just makes the kind of art they do now much easier.

 

The original Ken drawings for Gen 1 and 2 are the ones I remember the most.

Man, getting a shiny Basculin seems like a lost cause. Of the ones I'm looking for now, I think its the only one that runs. Finneon too, but that seems a little less skittish.

I honestly think it's the (mostly) triangular eye shapes that make the original gen feel so recognisable as pokemon, it's a relatively consistent theme

Some people in the comments are saying different builds but I honestly don’t see it. I probably don’t have the eye for it.
