dont know if it's been mentioned, but if you leave a pokemon at a friendly gym, you can go into the shop and click the badge thing near the top to get 10 free pokecoins and 500 stardust. i dont know if there's more to it than that, but i've been able to do it a couple times.

The Facebook group for the game in my city says it's coming tonight as it did last night. The mod of the group seems to have a bit of inside info (has alerted a few things before they happen) and he says it's supposed to appear after 1030 as it did after midnight last night.

Everyone posting pics of ninetales being there tonight too.

I'm curious if at any point trading among friends will be incorporated. Or if there will be some sort of group interface to see what your friends (ie facebook or phone contacts or something) are up to in the game.

I have to go to Lenscrafters today to get my glasses repaired, so I'm hoping there are some good Pokemon in that shopping plaza. I swear I haven't seen a new breed in three days. I have way too many Ratatta candies.

Just saw a +1000cp Snorlax at a gym.. I just can't.

 

there's an 1800CP lapras that has controlled a gym by my office for like, three days straight. It's level three or four and every pokemon there has 1000+ CP. it's fucked.

it is team mystic but im not even remotely strong enough to even train there and get XP or prestige points. we're right in the financial district by south station though so it's a huge foot traffic area. lures as far as the eye can see every day this week.

The bear is called Kiteruguma and is Normal/Fighting with the abilities Fluffy and Klutz, while the ghost is Mimitsukiyu and is Ghost/Fairy. It has the ability called Disguise.
People in Alola are scared of Kiteruguma to the point of having warning signs about it. It is really strong and can break anytthing in two. It likes to hug its trainers but is strong. Raising one puts your life in danger.
Mimitsukiyu hates sunlight, preferring dark places. It is rumoured that the cloth covering its body is a strategy to avoid the sun. Don't try to remove the cloth it is said that those that do become afflicted with an illness
