Would anyone wanna help me out with some trade evolutions? I have graveler, Kadabra and haunter and wanna send them to someone and then have em sent back after they evolve.

 

Trade evos aren't a thing in Arceus. All the Gen 1ers that used to need trades are evolved now by giving them the Linking Cord item.

 

Fuuuuuuuck I had an alpha Eevee and I wanted to evolve it to Umbreon so I specifically waited until night, but didn’t realize the criteria for Sylveon was “knows a fairy type move”, so I got Sylveon instead. :(((

 

So I finally found a shiny from an outbreak

I saved the game before I confronted it

I tried to catch it, it ran away

I turned the game off and turned it back on and “the reported outbreak seems to be gone”

Fuck that


And yes, autosave was off

 

How do I farm more of the currency to get the item? I've only got 900 and all 4 is gonna cost 4k :(

 

Yeah I did this but for a distortion to roll my last mon and the distortion was gone when I got back in

It’s brutal and because it’s not a wild shiny, you can’t just reset it and go back to that spot lol ugh

 

Was able to get a shiny bdsp starter so I’m relieved after what happened before

 

I’ve yet to find a shiny, but I haven’t been trying that hard.

 

Something I don’t think is talked about enough is Pokémon’s behavior within their environments, how they interact with each other and other Pokémon and you. It’s maybe the most underrated part of the game. I tried to do a toxicroak outbreak the other day and I swear, they were like the puddy men from power rangers, hopping and hiding and jumping out at you and communicating with each other and moving in different directions. It’s amazing. A silcoon attacked me by jumping out from a tree, I caught a picharisu while it was in a tree, just some very cool stuff.

 

My copy of PLA came earlier this afternoon, and this is honestly the most confusing but most fun games I've played in a while

 

Tried to outbreak hunt Glameow. Tried forever but then gave up after I came across a shunt Staravia. You definitely have to play with sound on because I almost missed it. Didn’t see it as I was riding by on Wyrdeer but heard the sound effect.

 

I always notice people say that but every time I’ve seen a shiny I hardly hear anything, I just see the shiny stars and that’s how I know

 

Had a shiny Clefairy run from me. Got a Shinx like ten minutes later tho

I just tried to do outbreaks for like two hours after, eventually luckily got a shiny.

I actually tried to reset for clefairy for about an hour and it was awful so I finally gave up. I still don’t have braviary so I was running across the whole mountain level every time lol

 

Mannnnn, I underestimated how much grinding I needed to do for the Viridian rival fight in my yellow nuzlocke. The gym leaders are so weak & easy to prepare for that you can win despite being underleveled. My rival, on the other hand, knocked out three of my pokemon and now I'm stuck with some Suicide Squad-ass looking team heading into the elite four. No Vs. Seeker in this gen is going to make this next stage a chore.

 

There’s a guy in town who wants to see a gastly, if you show him one he’ll give you a link cable., that’s how I got Gengar. I just caught wild alpha Golem and Machamp, I don’t know if they’re rare or only in a certain are but it’s way easier than farming merit points. You can also find rare items on Ursaluna but I haven’t figured out how that works yet.

So, I'm able to craft great and ultra balls now, but how do I get them to appear in my store? I haven't figured out how to get more items sold

 

You have to do the tasks with the guy in front of base. You talk to him and then there is a guy in the basement who awards you with the upgrades. They ask for pretty common items.

 

I’m having a ton of fun with this. Very grind-y but it’s still a breeze. Some battles are harder than expected

 

I have about 60 pokes to grind out for the shiny charm. It's so tedious

 

Just caught a shiny Graveler! First shiny I've found
