I bought a wireless GameCube controller for the switch and it feels like it was made for this game

 

I’m slowly losing interest in playing this game. I have no desire to fill the Pokédex in this game after almost completing the one in shining pearl. All I’m doing now is catching wild Pokémon, curing ones that are angry, rinse and repeat. I feel like I’m only playing this game now just to justify spending $50 on it.

 

I agree tbh. I miss gyms, travelling to other towns, and trainer battles the most. If I'm filling my Pokedex, I just want to catch one of each. I don't like to grind and catch the same Pokemon over and over, that's just repetitive.

 

Can you make an outbreak happen in the game?

 

This happening is why I haven’t spent the money on the game. I have a strong feeling I’d get bored within the first 10 hours of the game. I’ve been playing Hollow Knight all weekend instead and occasionally debating trying Arceus. Haha

 

I just want a Johto remake.

 

It’s probably because I haven’t slept much this weekend, but I have 22 hours invested in this game already.

 

If you repeatedly travel back and forth between the city and a camp you’ll eventually get one. Can take a while, especially if you don’t have that many areas unlocked, but you’ll get one

 

I imagine if there's ever a sequel for this game, as this game is supposed to show the advent of people and pokemon coming together, that the next theme will be the advent of gyms cus of people realising they probably shouldn't have anyone who isn't a certain level of trainer entering areas with stronk pokemon

Just got one a summon that really changes the game for traversal.


I love just sneaking around and catching a ton of shit and collecting all the goods at the end of the binge.

 

My biggest problem in-game right now is managing my satchel space. I'm used to being able to hold as much as I want all the time.

Thanks, when I do get outbreaks they’re usually the same ones. How do you reset it to have better shiny chances? I feel like I don’t even have autosave on but it autosaves before I get to the outbreak.

Also, do you only get outbreaks for Pokémon you’ve seen before? Or can it be random?

 

Yeah the satchel limit is really dumb.

 

It really does have monster hunter vibes with a lot of things

 

I beat the first two bosses, having a lot of fun. I saw an Umbreon in a distrotion field but passed out because I could only lock on to an Ursaring, that I already had. Then I looked up the odds of seeing an Umbreon so now I'm extra upset.

I feel like I've covered a ton of area in the first two levels but there is still a ton of stuff I must have not even touched because I'm missing some really common pokemon, have to find the right areas I guess.

 

Caught a Porygon2 in one of those distortion fields. Very sick. I don’t think I have enough stars yet to really do anything with it just yet.

 

I'm not touching any of the overleveled guys I've managed to catch, doesn't seem as fun to have an ace in the hole like that

 

I started using a level 45 alpha Heracross when the rest of my team was around level 30, but that's just because Heracross is one of my favorites

 

So yeah, an abra outbreak is like, impossible lol

 

The satchel space is annoying but I’m like not mad they included it or anything, I just go to the camp and dump my stuff
