As someone who didn’t play many of the gameboy games after RSE, I love the Grand Underground because Houndoom is my favorite Pokémon and I don’t have to wait until after the elite four to use it.

Swinging by Target after work tonight to pick this up and after that I’ll just be hoping this snowstorm in the Northeast doesn’t knock out my power

 

The tutorial stuff is killing me. I just wanna bash mons.

So far I’ve enjoyed Shining Pearl more, but I’ll see if heh changes as I progress in the game.

 

Does anyone know if you can actually catch alpha kricketune? I only had a few pokeballs but it seemed impossible, it wouldn’t let me use heavy balls either. Might reset it and get more pokeballs but idk, can I get an alpha kircketune again or is this the only one in the game?

 

From what I've heard there are some static alpha encounters but there are many others that are random spawns so I would guess that you could encounter it again.

 

You can. One of my friends caught an alpha Kricketune.

How exactly does lost and found work? Can you just randomly find someone’s stuff or is there something you have to look for?

 

I assume you have to be online, but lost satchels appear on your map and you can go find them

 

Do you get the items tho?

 

Yup, after you pick it up you can turn it in on the lost and found page and receive an item + merit points

 

Preordered Arceus from Target like six months ago. I could either wait for the game to come in the mail Monday or download it tonight

But then I have the physical copy for no reason

I will probably buy the game physical (which I never do) so I can resell it later. They're some of the only games that hold pretty good value and when I'm done I'll never return.

 

I’m really enjoying this so far, the catching and battle mechanics feel so good

 

Caught the alpha Kricketune on a single throw, after getting my whole ass beat by an alpha Parasect

 

I haven’t tried to catch an alpha Pokémon yet. I just defeat them in battle and move on.
