Man it is so easy to become filthy stinking rich in this game. I’ve had the Amulet Coin on my first position Pokemon since I picked it up and the money just rolls in. I just went to the Pokemart to stock up and my money was over 463,000 lol

I beat Fontina last night and she was way easier than Maylene and Crasher Wake's gyms, plus didn't even have to battle any trainers lol

Yeah I breezed through that battle haha. Maylene is th e only one that had me worried for a second so far, I was down to 2 Pokemon

 

You should be careful about skipping trainers in this game, one of the trainers in Fantina's gym is the only place to see Drifloon before Friday so you'll be locked out from post-game until you see one, since you need to see everything in your Pokédex to get into the post-game iirc lol

 

I'm playing slow enough that I won't be in the post game by friday lol.

 

@CarpetElf just played a game that was even worse, I literally carried the entire game and won, which means I’m not playing ranked again for another few days because the algorithm will only make the matchups worse lol

 

Omg accidentally hit "Run" when fighting Dialga. Thank God autosave didn't kick in and I was able to reset lol.

 

Some legendaries stay there until you catch them, right?

 

No idea, but not Dialga anyways!

 

I’ve never tried to get shinies before but I’m pretty sure some mon like heatran just stay there until you catch them, not sure why they wouldn’t just always do that tho

 

This game has really somehow made me thankful for the improvements that have been made to the main series since. Legends arceus is probably going to feel amazing.

 

My picharisu found a dusk stone in the cannedbologna gym, I’m still really hoping to find shiny stones. Maybe there’s somewhere that has a better chance of getting them. If anyone duplicates their shiny stones let me know lol

What I did for farming all those stones was catch 6 Pachirisu with Pick Up, get them all to Level 11, then just spent like an hour fighting Bidoof/Starly on the first route. By time you run out of Quick Attacks on all 6 (it's like 180 PP total, don't heal or restore them or anything, just swap it with the next one when it's out of PP) I had like 4 or 5 of each stone (dusk/dawn/shiny, I think?), plus a ton of repels and revives and super potions, and even 1 rare candy! It's obviously a bit of a pain in the ass but it seems like the most efficient method for getting them and you can do it relatively afk.

Can you use any picharisu with pickup or does it have to be a weak wild one from early on in the game?

 

It can be any, but the pick up item sets change every 10 levels (so 1-10, 11-20, etc), and since more items get put in the pool past 20 it's best if you have them in the 11~20 range, since the stones aren't in the pool pre-11. Catch them early and get them to 11 and then you have 10 levels to grind with them. After that one session where I got all my stuff, I had them just barely into level 12 so obviously the lower you have them the longer they'll last.

I think like, post-30 the rate for stones goes back up but the 21~30 range is lower (11~20 is 4%, 21~30 is 3%, 31~70 is 4%, 71~80 is 5%, 81~90 is 9%, 91~100 is 10%), so 11~20 is most optimal.
