Oof I couldn't imagine this game moving any slower lol glad I never played it on DS

 

Yeahhhh, it took me more than a year to finish it. I’m at least a third of the way through in a few days so it’s definitely better but the original was pretty exhausting. I guess they wanted people who have never played to have to deal with at least some of the same roughness.

 

I do have 5 badges in 10.5 hours of playtime so maybe that's not so bad. There's just so much text that it feels super slow, but I'm surprised I'm (guessing) close to halfway through the game?

 

Well compared to swsh or let’s go, it’s definitely much tougher. I’d be okay with giving another dev a chance to do the bw remakes, assuming gamefreak will only be doing arceus and mainline games from now on.

 

Woah I'm only just realizing that Diamond takes up 2.4GB on the Switch even with the physical cartridge. Must have been some massive updates that were needed

 

Black and white are my favorite mainline games but I think they should go with BW2. It improved so much of the game.

 

And there will definitely be more lol

 

Lol aaand this is why I just ordered a physical copy of Links Awakening. I'm running out of storage fast

Yeah I'm sure it'll come to that eventually heh. I have some hoarder-like tendencies I need to get over

 

A lot of the glitches are simple to fix, hopefully they can get a nice update by early December.

 

There’s really no reason to keep them on there when you can just bring them back in a few minutes

Magnemite can sometimes be holding a metal coat when you catch it, that’s how I got mine so early.

 

Do the cave magnemite have it? My electabuzz had electralizer that way

 

Is Palkia easy to catch in this game? I'm surprised you wouldn't use it on that but I'm still learning

Question from someone who doesn’t know anything about Pokémon. My nephews are into it and I’m probably getting them stuff related to it.

Where can I buy a box of cards and how much should I expect to spend? I’m coming across what appear to be counterfeit products.

 

Yeah I used a Timer Ball and got it that way, pretty easy

 

Ooh never heard of that ball before, just looked it up and it sounds very handy
