I’m through three gyms and my team is

Luxray
Gyarados
Beautifly
And then a floating slot for an egg or any other Pokémon I’m trying to level up

 

Wow how did you get a Gyarados so early? I'm about to go against the third Gym

 

You can get Magikarp on Route 204 north of Eterna City. The old rod is east of the city. I had one for that gym as well.

 

caught a Magikarp as soon as I got the Old Rod and never took it out of my party haha

 

I’ve got Prinplup, Croagunk and Spiritomb about to fight the 3rd gym!

I’ve probably spent almost as much time in the underground as the surface. Trying to dig up all the fossils I Can.

Ah, it’s alright. I don’t even have the big dex yet, guessing you get it when you beat the game

I think you have to complete the Sinnoh Dex and then it unlocks. You don't have to have obtained them all though, just seen all of them.

Finally made it to the snow area. Graphically it’s my favorite place in the game so far. Currently searching for a Snover to get an Abomasnow

 

you get it from a fisherman on Route 209 on the way to Solaceon Town

Game showed up a day early so I've been playing all afternoon and man, I know this seems to be an unpopular opinion, but this is exactly what I wanted this game to be. It feels exactly like the original, such a nostalgia trip. Two gyms in and absolutely loving it.

 

It’s not unpopular at all, negative people are just much more vocal about stuff sometimes. I’m sure this game will do really well.
