the scalping for this set has been brutal, even more so than any other set released over the past 2 years. double msrp has been the price for just about every product for it. it sucks.

It seems like unite will start giving out free gems the same way they give out coins, which is awesome, if true. I was annoyed about the nintetails thing but it seems like they’re continuing to balance the game out with stuff like this so I’m happy about that.

i am curious as to what the singles market for celebrations will be. its only 4 card packs but every card is a holo rare or above and its a small set so pull rates seem decent from the opening videos ive seen. getting sealed products might be difficult since so much of the hobby is trending towards keeping things sealed, but some of the cards might be available for relatively decent prices. unless you want the charizard, thats not happening.

i just really want that umbreon gold star

 

@StepsInADance if you’re still looking for some celebrations tcg, their site has at least one set that should still be available and if not just keep looking they’ve been randomly updating it throughout the day. Even if they say it’s sold out you should click on them because it might not be.

 

yeah ive been keeping track. ive been able to get some preorders in over the past month or so but today managed to snag a pikachu box and a zacian one. these elite trainer boxes will be the death of me though, site crashes so hard whenever they go up. have you gotten any?

 

Only the one, I stupidly passed on the etb when it first went up because I didn’t realize scalpers were gonna come back hard like they did. I missed almost everything else that went up but I’m gonna keep looking. Apparently there’s something with the listing on their site where it shows for some people in some regions but not others?

I was very surprised I was able to snag something from GameStop before they immediately sold out… then a few hours later found our Target had a huge selection and got myself an ETB! Best thing I pulled was Venasaur or Here Comes Team Rocket probably. Got all the Pikachus as well I think. Need another ETB to probably complete the set
