Big surprise to no one, most of the well known Pokémon streamers on twitch still streamed there yesterday (they’re almost all, if not all men)

Been replaying Lets Go since I never finished it. Still very enjoyable

There's been a lot of "hate raids" going on on Twitch from random hateful people/trolls/whatever towards marginalized people, so I know a bunch of streamers were taking a day from Twitch as a way of showing Twitch that they want Twitch themselves to take action on those things

 

Oh yeah, a lot of streamers didn’t stream to try to get the platform to actually fix the issue of hate raids that go on with mostly women and poc but a lot of the Pokémon streamers ignored it completely and streamed anyway.

 

I’m not sure if they mean someone in particular but I noticed a lot of silence in general so probably multiple streamers

 

This was almost certainly in response to aDrive, who streamed yesterday and said he was helping raise awareness because he tweeted at twitch the other day.

 

Gotcha. I hadn't heard about any of that.

 

I detest aDrive and think he is a fraud, so him streaming yesterday and white knighting the movement with his tweet to twitch (I have him muted on twitter so I don't know if he actually did it) comes as little surprise to me. His fans went after Bou hard when she posted her video detailing how speculators were killing the TCG. Can't have his new grading business impacted.

Dada Zarude is Level 70 with the Choice Scarf and the moves Jungle Healing, Hammer Arm, Power Whip and Energy Ball
Shiny Celebi is Level 60 with a Lucky Egg and the moves Magical Leaf, Future Sight, Life Dew and Heal Bell
