I just realized they didn’t mention anything about megas or dynamax, don’t know if that means it won’t be a thing or not tho
Yeah, I wouldn’t mind since I skipped those games but also wouldn’t mind there not being any gimmicks like the original had either
In legends? They picked three randos for some reason. Maybe because samurott vibes well with the surrounds idk
My immediate impression of Legends is that it's the closest we'll ever get to a game that throws every region/gen together into one game.
I don't have a problem with the chibi top down style at all Totally get that's what would be faithful to the originals These textures just look ugly imo! But stuff often looks dodgy in trailers so who knows
anyone have a link to breakdown video of what was announced? I'm sure there are thousands of youtubers compiling reactions now, but I have no idea what's going on because I missed the stream
Wait, are you going to be able to get all Pokémon from the first to third gen like in the original games?
Depends on why you hated Let's Go. Without knowing any gameplay changes, yes, although gen 4 Pokémon can be ugly.
With the gang that would've liked to see graphics closer to Lets Go for DP. Arceus has me excited though. Really excited to see what they can do outside of the traditional gym/championship storyline.
I'm very curious to see how the D/P remakes handle the difficulty. IMO Gen 4 is maybe the toughest, and I kind of hope they keep it that way. I love X/Y and Sw/Sh, but those were in no way challenging.
I will be getting all of the games. I never played Diamond or Pearl. The top down look is fine with me. Link’s Awakening was completely charming and kind of looks the same, so I’ll feel right at home.
Answering my own question, I just realized that Cynthia should be easier assuming they add Fairy type to the remake.
Diamond and Pearl are good games and have some of the best Pokemon like Shinx, Combee, Drifloon, Shellos, Munchlax, Garchomp, Leafeon and Glaceon.
I only know those Pokémon from playing Pokémon Go. Never really know which gen they are. Sword & Shield introduced me to a bunch of new ones that I thought were from Sword & Shield, but turns out they were just gens I wasn’t familiar with.
True to the series and very Japanese. It's an interesting art direction for show. A few jprg are in that direction with Bravely Default 2 being released this week. I love the announcements today. No disappointment on my end. I was hoping for one game and two were announced. I think splitting up the duties with Gamefreak outsourcing the remakes is a great idea. Clearly they have become overwhelmed by what the franchise and fanbase has become over the years. This lets Gamefreak try something new instead rehashing old ideas.
