have you tried competitive pokemon before? if not i (and a lot of other people here) can 100% help out. it can be overwhelming at first, but we've had some players here who started knowing nothing and have been wrecking it
I used to play on showdown a ton before the galar Pokémon came out, so I do have a lot of stuff here in the ole memory banks...just need to get back into it I think! The GMax stuff I’m clueless on, and I’ve forgotten a lot of abilities I’ll be excited to learn how to counter common strong Pokémon because I always get destroyed by strategy teams
that's great. last i played was X/Y, and then I got into MtG, and these fools just dragged me back to the game which I'm grateful for gmax is basically just double HP for 3 turns and then a bulleted list of weird interactions, but a lot of those bullets only really apply to very specific things EDIT: misleading. last i played competitively was X/Y. i played Su/Mo and OR/AS
yeah you're good. Gen 1 had a lot of weird things going on for sure, i think over time they did a great job separating the 2 by introducing moves, abilities, etc. gen 1 type chart is amusing to look at now
Yes. Follow me on Instagram: @JordanPlaysBlue. Learn about nerdy board games. I’m partnering with a ton of publishers this summer to bring the scoopzzz.
It's been confirmed that there will be level scaling in the DLC and that if you choose to bring all level 100 to the Isle of Armor, the game will make wild Pokemon and trainers match it.
Think I’m gonna start with an all new team, just don’t know which Pokémon will be available yet. Is there a confirmed list? Which starters go to which dlc?
I'm not sure what you mean by which starters go to which dlc. As far as I know right now, you will be given a bulbasaur and/or squirtle. Not sure if it's both or if you have to choose. This is the list of returning Pokemon that have been confirmed for Isle of Armor so far. I think this may only end up being half of the total, there's about 50+ listed here. https://www.serebii.net/swordshield/expansionpass/theisleofarmor.shtml
There hasn't been any confirmation yet that you will be transfer starters from past gens. Only ones we know so far are the ones that are already available, gen 1 and gen 7.
remember that time Go was gonna have connectivity to Sun and Moon? lol. not counting all the issues they had connecting to Let's Go in the first couple of months. i don't expect it before the holiday tbh, very annoying
like i know covid impacted a lot but Go transfer should have been close to ironed out by the time Home released in the first place
