We can just do a snake draft, one mon at a time for 10 rounds.

I think 1-2 matches a week would be fine. It doesn't have to be intense. We could do some regular season battles, then seed for a playoff tournament.

Singles, draft league in snake order, 10 Pokemon that can be drafted by each person in the league (4 from OU, 6 from under OU), bring 6 for each match of your choice. Can change builds of Pokemon from week to week (right?). All played through Showdown

I don't recall if we said 1 Gmax per party or 0, I think we should go 1 each (so 1 Gmax, 3 OU, 6 non-OU)

Gen 8 classifications so only things that are currently legal in gen 8

sleep clause, baton pass?

 

Since Spore isn't common at all this gen and sleep mechs have been improved I don't think sleep clause is needed personally. What do y'all think?

I think Baton Pass should be banned personally especially considering it's easy enough to boost just about every mon this gen, but am okay with it being in. I can see passing subs being annoying fast but idk

with sleep cause i’m honestly not sure. i’m not 100% sure i know what has changed with it mechanically, but if you guys think it’s harder to make consistent this time im all for it

 

Also yea, I suck even more at doubles. Still trying to get better at singles first lol

 

What's changed is that if you switch a Pokemon out when they have taken a certain # of turns with sleep, those turns being taken is retained and still count towards their chance of waking up when they're back in

The counter used to reset upon switchout

Also since Spore is less common now (I think only Shiinotic learns it) there aren't as many 100% sleep moves available anymore
