Dragalia Lost has ruined other mobile games for me. the gameplay is good and it is stupidly generous because it is not coasting on an existing property and therefore has to stand on it's own as a game. progression and gameplay in that is pretty engaging. i got into Pokemon Masters, saw all the drip feed of summoning currency and the p2w trappings and bounced within a weekend

 

I guess I haven't gotten into any of the pay to win stuff yet. I just got my Dewgong and I'm elated lol

 

we will have to see what the future holds. the dupe system is the biggest tell for me. i played near every mildly popular gacha at some point at my old breezy desk job and the ones that incentivize pulling multiple of the same character are always the ones that suffer the most from power creep.

mainly the currency turned me off. Dragalia is doing an amazing Monster Hunter collab and giving away ten free ten pulls for it. ive pulled every new character with a week of freebies still to go and they're all designed with a ton of love/care/nods to monhun

 

yeah i dropped masters early on because the pace at which currency was given out was just so slow. i downloaded it again and always plan to give it another go since i had a bunch of currency saved up, but i never do.

i have respect fir dragalia. they give away tons of pulls and you can tell they listen to fans, specially with the wyrmprint change but damn i never pull anything i want. ive gotten so many dragons and the last time i pulled something i wanted it was christmas cleo and that was when she came out in 2018 lol. for my money granblue is the pinnacle of all these games and the one i sink most of my time into.

also to not hijack the thread any longer, being as im so into these mobile games, would anyone be interested in a thread for these kinds of things? id love to have more people to talk to about this stuff and i had no idea anyone here even still played dragalia. there could he dozens of us! dozens!

 

After quest got randomly discontinued, I didn't bother with masters or any of those other games. Didn't want to waste time and then be sad.

 

I'd be up for one although i only play Dragalia. is Granblue still browser based? how reliable is that kinda thing?

 

cool ill make one when i get home from work. yeah its still broswer only but its pretty perfect, ive never had any issue. in fact i ran the app on an android once and there was 0 difference.

I wish I had the patience to hatch. Most of my IV's are total trash.

 

There are people who say they hatch a shiny in like 80 hatches, very hard to believe

 

My quickest was 13 eggs for Phione in White 2.

Masuda Method and pure luck. I've had hunts that have gone well into the 1000s too. From Y through Ultra Sun, I hatched 75k eggs. I'm hoping Home gives stats like Bank does because I would love to know how many I've hatched total thus far (most of my Sword hunts have gone 500+) so far.

 

Yea, I need another masuda ditto after I stupidly traded mine away

 

Any time I've tried Masuda, I've just used the foreign pokes I've gotten in trades. Beats having to try and get a foreign ditto.

 

I got a 5 IV Japanese Ditto through surprise trade during my normal play through; so damn lucky there. I have a 6 IV one waiting for Home to move up.

There has been no mention of Melmetal yet as far as I know.

 

I would guess Melmetal is definitely part of the first expansion.

 

I bred it for adamant so it'd be amped, but I'm gonna mint it to timid or modest.
