I have not gotten a shiny since getting the charm other than Magikarp from the raid event lol. I’ve been trying to hatch a shiny Snom but 360 eggs in I still have nothing. I know a lot of times it takes much longer but I’m not patient enough for it.

 

I've battled over 500 minccino and spritzee. Shiny checked probably over 1000 each. NOTHING. I feel like I've collectively been at it for two weeks. Want to give up on it, but I feel like I have to get AT LEAST one of them soon. Bleh.

After three straight Masuda method hunts of 1000+ eggs (Sinistea, Snom, and Blipbug), this morning I hatched 2 shiny Applin within the first 225 eggs. I'm not sure what to hunt next though.

 

i'm 100 eggs or so into the Galar Slowpoke shiny hunt. just doing it on my commutes to and from work. that boi will be mine.

 

I haven't tried to intentionally get a shiny yet because I still suck at breeding and I'm afraid I'll get a 3iv shiny with an ability I don't like. I have gotten a lot better at it, though.

 

You have to have a female with a hidden ability to pass it on, right?

 

I'm still working on shiny Zigzagoon, no idea how many I've gone through

I was worried about that too but bottle caps are pretty easy to get in this game and it's made me breathe a sigh of relief, especially since I still don't have a 6IV foreign Ditto (mine is only 4IV)

 

It used to be that way, gender does not matter for passing on HA anymore I'm pretty sure

 

Can confirm that males pass on HAs from personal experience

 

I think I may have spotted two new Pokémon from the thing yesterday, one kind of looks like snom and musharna in one.

 

Really? So do you just keep hatching until you get it? I have a male with ha and it won't pass down, I've hatched a few but none have had it. Is there an item you need or something?

Yea I'm gonna do that for the shiny I got yesterday but I think I only have 10 and I'm saving them for the shiny I'm going to eventually hatch in case it's IVs suck.

 

Look in the upper right corner on crown tundra, I could be wrong but it looks like a Pokémon to me. It definitely looks like it has eyes and a mouth. It's really small, though. I could be totally wrong lol
