So how do you get 4 and 5 star raids. I’ve never seen any that high and I’ve done a ton.

I've just done it through others invites, check your Ycomm. I would avoid 5 star raids until your way further in the game, though. They're hard af.

 

so I haven't been able to pick up the new game yet, so I've been scratching the itch by playing X/Y, any chance anyone has any friends codes from that they'd share with me? trying to do some friend safaris lol

Ugh, I tried discord for pokego once and just totally hated it.

 

dex up to 373. coming close to the end

 

coming from a PeacefulOrca something must have really happened there for you to hate it

but yea it's more of an optional thing, i just prefer the immediacy of a messaging service vs a forum one for certain things.

 

do you keep most of the pokemon you collect? or do you just get the pokedex entry and trade them away?

Right now I'm trying to get the shiny charm. Don't care if I lose stuff in the process. Next step is making a living Dex. After that is shiny hunting. I'm not a competitive guy, so I'm not sure I'll ever get to that lol

 

I have 3 competitive ready pokes so far, it's definitely a lot easier than past games

 

For anyone wondering about the fossils, once you trade for them, they are REALLLLLLY rare. I burned through 50K just trying to get a second set of Sword ones. I ended up with around 25 of each Shield fossil and 1 of each Sword. Its probably easier to either trade two sets or just trade for the pokes.

 

i got some 5iv stuff from wonder trade alone. but now i keep getting good pokemon with 1 minor mistake, like a corviknight that missed the HA, or a ponyta with the wrong nature.

i could keep the ponyta but for others it’s def easier to just breed to get it right.

im so glad pokemon isnt real bec i would feel so guilty

 

Shouldn't have read the comments. It's just a bunch of Nat Dex people being sad that the game sold well haha
