Wow, very nice of them for the shiny thing. Have yet to see a shiny in raid and I do so many.

pretty sure it's a 1 outta like 5,000 chance or so. you've got like 4900 left before you face the odds lol

the raid battles are so fucking not fun. i appreciate them as a way to get desirable mons with high IVs, but the actual process is so bad, at least for five star raids. so many long winded animations and they all seem to respawn their shields the first turn after you break them

I absolutely hate them. I really do. I think they’re awful.

 

I think they wanted to make it strategic, I hate the shield bs that stalls the whole thing.

You can only make one until you trade the fossils, so we can just attack those to pokes and I'll handle the rest.

 

If you turn off battle animations in the game's settings will it help?

Yeah, didn't start using them until post-game training competition mons though lol

 

i will try it but i imagine it doesnt do much, since the raids gotta keep everyone kinda synced up, id have to wait for all the animations to resolve for everyone else anyways. the menu setting says it's only for move animations but ill see

 

Turning off animations doesn’t turn off that ridiculously long Dynamax animation unfortunately.

 

Dynamax is dumb, as is every other comparable gimmick from the last few games. Dynamax is the dumbest though.
