Dragapult is awesome. It’s such a shame you can’t catch Dreepy until late game and he has a ridiculous 1% encounter rate.

 

It's almost like the people whining about the National Dex are an attention-starved, extremely vocal minority. Huh.

 

Also third best launch overall behind FIFA and modern warfare

still think the war between people who want the national dex and those who dont is annoying as fuck and both sides of it are annoying in their own ways

 

So far I feel like I'd trade the NatDex for how fun this game has been

It's also really early and I recognize that the principle is about the series as a whole and not how it impacts 1 game

 

five star raids are a pain in the ass

i dont care the the nat dex is gone but if anyone out there wouldnt be happier to see it in, that i just dont understand. options are good, content is good, devs paying attention to what the majority of players want is good.

 

I just beat Kabu last night. I've been taking my time and loving this game.

Has anyone used Hatterene? Is it worth it? Psychic/Fairy great.

I wanted more side plot in this game but I also recognize I'm absolutely playing the wrong game for that

Felt very "everything revolves around Hop but also you I guess"

 

Filling out the Dex feels pretty easy. I've had a lot of luck catching stuff pretty quick. The biome/weather stuff is a bit annoying though.

 

this game actually got me to bring my Switch to work. only other time ive done that was once for Fire Emblem

Still can't catch the three star centiskorch, beat him twice and he came out of the great ball both times. I'm only up to hammerlocke so I only have 3 ultra balls and I don't want to use them yet, ugh.

 

is that the easiest way to get 5ivs?

havent finished the game yet but hoping to immediately jump to building a proper team after i do

How do you check IVs in this game?

 

I'm not really sure yet, each 5star raid I've done has been between 4-5 IVs so far but not sure if there's an easier way to get em, am gonna test and see how chaining works in improving IVs by catching a shit ton of Pokemon while I shiny hunt

 

After you do battle tower you should unlock the judge ability

 

Got my first wild applin. It's strange how they decide which Pokémon are under grass and which aren't. Further down the wild area there are mudsdale and onix beneath but mudbray and ghastly above.

 

Played a bit of Showdown and Polteageist meta is about what I thought so far and I love it
