The meowth bonus in pre-order is so dumb, you can trade for a kanto meowth very quickly in the game lol now I have two

 

Chose Sobble actually. The onix knew Dragonbreath and hit me before i could water gun it and took it out. Then my rookidee was an easy target.

 

I believe only the gift one can Gigantamax though? I could be wrong.

 

I just assumed it means all kanto meowth can? Maybe you're right, now I'm worried idk which is which haha

Echoing what someone said here before, I love that these feel like boss battles

 

I just double checked and yeah the gift Meowth is the only one that can. It also cannot evolve into Persian.

if you look at their summaries, I think there should be an icon that differentiates them.

 

It's kind of wild how one whole half of the wild area is like, you can't catch any of those Pokémon at all until you get like what, 5 badges?

I think it's just the gift Pikachu and Meowth of those lines that can Gigantimax and also don't evolve.

 

Yup, the gift Eevee cannot evolve either.

You can trade for a meowth in-game with a random trainer, so everyone can get a regular meowth but you have to pre-order to get the special gigantimeowth
