So there is a rumor going around that there is a glitch with autosaving where people's sd cards have been erased because of it. I don't know if it's true or bs but you all might wanna turn autosave off for now just to be safe.

 

I saw the same thing. Serebii said they think it only affects SD cards that weren’t originally formatted by a Switch.

What exactly does that mean?

SD cards can be formatted in different ways. Fat32, exFAT, or NTFS. If you stick an SD card in a pc and choose to format it, it will give you those three options. The Switch formats to fat32 by default but some people choose to format to exFAT because fat32 can’t hold files bigger than 4gb. The exFAT driver on the switch fucking sucks to be frank and can wipe your sd card.

if you just threw an sd card into the switch and let that format it you should be fine.
