It skips that if you’ve already caught Pokémon, no?

 

How do you get the attention of Pokémon flying over you? I saw someone playing where a woobat was like several feet above you. Also, when you fish can you only do it if it looks like there's something in the water?

 

Regarding flying Pokémon I’m not too sure I just know if I’m running near them they start to beeline for me.

Regarding fishing, yeah they’re the only spots you can fish.

What is mystery gift exactly?

 

Went to the target near my work and they “didn’t know if they had it yet” sounds like a bunch of bullshit and they didn’t want to check if they had it in back/messed up on not putting it out yet.

 

Sometimes Pokemon would do online giveaways for an exclusive Pokemon or legendary or items or something like that, and you would be able to use the "Mystery Gift" option after the title page to accept the Pokemon/items as a gift in the game

Idk how it would be for SwSh, haven't picked up my copy yet gonna do that at lunch

Sounds good, kind of like community day. I think I remember it but way back before you could have the interwebs on games and it was much more complicated, they gave you like a deadline to get the special Pokémon. You had to go to toys r us tournaments to get it back then tho, which was wild lol now that you can just sit on your couch and claim the new mon (I'm assuming).

 

Sometimes you can claim locally and sometimes stores do giveaways where it's connected to the Pokemon Pass app I believe? Idk how that works though I haven't claimed anything with it before, I assume it's just a QR reader app on your phone you can connect to your 3DS/Switch

 

yea, I think GameStop does that so you have to go in and just do it there. I doubt with a lot of people playing it on consoles, they do that now tho.

 

I guess it will be revealed before they release the first one, never even heard of Pokémon pass but idk if it's necessary on a switch either.
