Gen 8 - Sobble

 

After reading some more, back on scorbunny.

 

I feel bad for the other gen 4 starters everyone just loves piplup

 

If I get the game I'll probably choose Sobble

 

I hate football no way I'm choosing scorbunny

 

For me, there are some Gens where I feel like I could be happy with any of the starers. 1, 3, 6, and 7 have no bad starters imo.

 

Gen 3 starters are all just unfairly good

 

I like the starters in all of them, except chesnaught.

 

My first starters vs. (preferred starter)

Bulbasaur (Squirtle)
Chikorita (Cyndaquil)
Mudkip (Mudkip)
Piplup (Turtwig)
Oshowat (Snivy)
Chespin (Froakie)
Rowlet (Rowlet)

I'm often wrong about who I'll like most... Oh well.

Also, apparently I never pick fire or prefer fire (except Cyndaquil).

 

Chesnaught is such a beast and I love its typing, but good lordy is it an ugly 'mon.

 

I remember getting a holo typhlosion card (way before the English set came out) and it instantly changed my perspective, now I much prefer cyndaquil and chikorita to totodile.

Cyndaquil is probably my favorite starter overall.

 

I hope we get Megas for gen 2, eventually

Ooh, good question. I can't see them getting rid of them entirely, they'll still be in tournaments and what not.

 

Yea, masuda said they would be back a few days ago so I don't thinking they're getting rid of them permanently or anything.

 

VGC is going based of SwSh meta I think? So I don't think VGC will have megas for the time being (although all they've really had recently is Rayquaza/Kyogre/Groudon)

Showdown will always have their stuff so I'm sure they'll have megas and other tourneys will
