All the starters are confirmed as single types.

 

My pick was going to be Sobble but then I saw the final evolutions and Grooky's definitely looks the coolest. May still go with Sobble though.

Didn't really want to go with Scorbunny since I went fire last-gen (Incineroar, duh).

 

I think I'll pick Grookey, but I'll just end up putting it in a box once I have 6 Pokémon that I like more, so it doesn't really matter that much lol

Grookey has the best ability of the three by far, right? I was gonna go with scorbunny but his ability isn't nearly as good

 

First time picks I made for each gen:
-Charmander (really Pikachu though cuz Yellow was my first)
-Totodile
-Treecko
-Piplup
-Oshawott
-Fennekin
-Popplio
-Sobble

 

I'd use grookey until the end of it had it's hidden ability

 

I will drink that thing's body goddammit

 

I went Bulbasaur in Blue, Totodile in Silver, and Torchic in Ruby back in the day. Then I didn't play again until Sun, where I took Litten.

 

By the way did every starter in the past keep their ability until their final evo? I don't remember that but it seems like it's that way with these

 

Because they disagree with it and want to express as much. Why would anyone upvote a review with this kind of logic? Why is expressing disagreement for something one disagrees with inherently pathetic and toxic? What avenue for expressing disapproval would you find acceptable?

I've said this before but I really regret not playing Pokémon at all between Ruby and Sun. Big mistake.

 

I played very little and I do wish I played more

I'd pick up a game, get like 1 gym in and quit

XY was when I fully got back in

 

Whereas I played too much lol

 

I think Serperior is my favorite I'm not sure

I also love Primarina though

And really a lot of them haha

 

I actually can't remember who I chose in the first gen because my game got stolen twice so I might have had all three at some point.

The weirdest part about it though is that there wasn't even a reason why I stopped. I always owned Nintendo's handhelds so it wasn't for lack of having a means to play them. I just kind of never bought them again.

 

I have a shiny Snivy to give away once we can transfer them to a Switch game

 

Primarina is easily my favourite fully evolved 7th gen starter

I loved Litten when it was revealed but now I hate that fucking traitor
