Reviews on YouTube are getting downvoted so hard. This is just embarrassing to watch. These members of the community are so sad.

 

It's so pathetic

 

They really are. I can understand having issues with the games. I really can. It's fair to point out problems when they arise and be critical.

BUT when a large number of people are attacking anyone who has anything good to say about something, it's not criticism. It's toxic and gross. That is my issue with all of this.

 

What exactly is embarrassing, sad, pathetic, toxic, or gross about downvoting Youtube videos?

 

Throwing a tantrum about a game online then going out of your way to downvote YouTube reviews of said game is pathetic lol

 

Why are we assuming everyone who downvoted it threw a tantrum? How could the few button clicks required to navigate your way onto Youtube qualify as “going out of your way”?

 

Because the reviews are going against the narrative on twitter and Reddit where people are throwing a fit.

The IGN review has 10k downvotes. Why is that? None of these people have played said game. For ign it's actually a pretty decent review. It's getting downvoted because people are upset about the game. It's got nothing to do with the actual review which is pathetic.

 

For the same reason that the same people continuing to angry react every single post on Pokemon's Facebook page as well as all the positive comments within each post is embarrassing and sad.

 

The game leaked, has been streamed in its entirety, and its contents are known about; the act of playing it doesn’t imbue one with much more, if any, substantial new information.

How does disagreement with a review have nothing to do with the actual review?

 

So it’s toxic to downvote a review because entirely different behaviour on a different platform is toxic?

Out of curiosity, if downvoting a review in itself is toxic and pathetic, what avenue for expressing disapproval do you find acceptable?

 

I feel like my copy won't come till late Friday night, if that does happen I might wait till Saturday to play. Trying to convince my friend to get sword so we can trade.

 

What I usually do, when the new Pokémon games come out, is use Serebii as my main resource for info about Pokémon as I see them and look into plot/map details as I get to them in the game. Since the game isn’t out yet I haven’t looked at any of that.

so I haven’t been up to date with leaks and other info. Is it confirmed that Skorbunny’s final evo is fire/fighting and the grass starter’s final evo is pure grass? If that’s the case I’m definitely gonna have to go with Sobble
