Still not sure if I want to spend $60 on this. I’m not excited at all for these games, they seem lifeless to me

 

The two I’ve seen aren’t that bad lol. But apparently that is still in for Inkay in this gen.

IGN called Sw/Sh the best games in the series. I don’t think it’s possible that any Pokémon games are better than HG/SS.

 

i know it’s not never happen, but if game freak suddenly just decides to stop making pokemon games out of frustration i would laugh so hard

I think it's more likely they do something to regain the fanbase than anything

 

I wonder if they would do a collection or maybe just a straight up reboot, if they did. The first 2 are so good from what I remember. It's weird thinking that was on ps1 and almost 20yrs ago. I still have that metalgreymon card somewhere.

It’s embarrassing to be part of the same fan community as them.

I haven’t kept up with any of this drama around the game at all and was on the fence about buying it and the Kotaku review 100% sold me on picking this up Friday

I still don't know the context for Toby Fox's contribution to the soundtrack but that shit is fucking FLAMES.

 

I found a copy of 1 at a retro game convention a few months ago and bought it. Don’t even know where my ps1 is

 

at this point i dont know what are spoilers anymore but apparently if you have a Pokeball Plus (the controller) you can get a special pokemon?
