I started a HeartGold Nuzelock last night to prepare for Friday. It reminds me of how much I hate trade evos, because I have a Geodude who kicks ass but I'll ultimately have to ditch him.

 

I found my old pearl but realized it's basically useless now, sigh.

There doesn’t seem to be much content in the first wild area. Just Pokémon to catch and raids. I was hoping there would be more like some side quests or even a small town or gym.

They have cut content every gen and always replaced it with other content, sometimes it's bases, wondertrade, HMs, Pokeblocks or apricots, etc. It just depends on what content you value more and whether or not you think it's a fair shakeup. If not, don't support it and I'll respect your decision for not buying it. But if someone says anything along the lines of threatening the developers' lives or suggesting they kill/hurt themselves, I will have no tolerance. You're doing a great job of losing validity for the points you're trying to make as well.

By the way, that's directed at the community and not anyone specific in here because all of you seem to have your heads on straight and are pretty friendly about actually having a dialogue about everything.

 

Man, some of the animations are really awful.

 

release week has been super wild. im excited for friday anyway. based on the stuff ive been looking at today this does feel like a 3DS game that they struggled to port on switch. not a deal breaker for me, but definitely couldve been a lot better

Which will be interesting because sure half of them will be bs but almost every pokefan or gamer on social media who has played it early has had very positive things to say about it.

Honestly the Twitter & Reddit meltdown has made me want this game so much more. I already love it

 

I don’t really like it from what I’ve seen and I’m a huge Pokémon fan. Looks like there’s very little content, corridor routes, and the wild area doesn’t seem to have any content in it bar raids. It’s not the great leap forward that I was hoping for. It’s just more of the same.

 

Pokémon could learn a lot from digimon

 

Milcery is absolutely a Fresh Digimon.
