Yeah I'm with this. But it's Pokémon so I'm still really interested in the game, even if I'm so let down.

At the end of the day it all comes down to: will these changes affect how you play the game?

For me, someone who never bothers to fill out the national dex, never transfers between games, and never plays competitively, I can pretty confidently say they won't. For other people it does matter and I get that.

My issue is when people start attacking the company and everyone who buys and enjoys the game. There is zero reason to do that.

 

Imagine if fans of other video game series demanded every character from the previous entries were in the new one lol

 

This happened to Smash and it turned out great! I get your point though lol

 

Imagine if other developers cut a massive amount of content from a game under the guise of using the additional time and resources to get the rest of the game into pristine shape but then the rest of the game looks substandard anyway and they end up being more expensive than every other mainline entry in the series.

 

Yea, if it wasn't a Pokémon thing for so long I don't think it would be such a big whoop. I never cared for it personally, I was more interested in the new game itself as a whole which is why I don't really care about all the old Pokémon being in the game. I would prefer if they just did a whole new group of 100 with no old Pokémon over 86 new Pokémon and a bunch old ones TBH

Thats wonderful, and you are certainly free to not buy the games if you dont agree. Dunno what difference it makes whether I buy the games or not though. My personal enjoyment doesnt affect you or other people unhappy about the games in any way.
