Dex wasn’t the only think cut, they’ve removed moves too 144 moves removed including Pursuit, Return, and Hidden Power lmao
I'm still teetering between "wow this really sucks for everything I already have" and "wow this could make for a really fun game" about everything especially the premise of not being able to use certain moves Will prob just keep up my bank and Sun/Moon game, play SwSh independently from what I built up and have fun with it
I really really hope my last post was a fake because I actually can’t stop laughing at the possibility.
Some of the moves listed as removed were really pointless to be fair But yeah those you listed are just dreadful to have removed for comp play (but also I'm not THAT upset about for in SwSh? but hell no I'm not removing em from my existing Pokemon)
They kept Vespiquen but removed Heal Order, removed Marowak but kept Bonemerang I’m so confused what are they doing
the fact that there is one single background for wild encounters is hilarious if true. there hasn't been a single thing shown that justifies the endless rough edges this thing is shipping with
Oh man with HP gone the whole meta will be a Ferrothorn fest. I really REALLY hope they’ve put in a replacement.
I'm still just waiting to see how it all works together, like what the grand vision ends up being even outside of this game and how it plays etc etc But with looking at all these different massive changes and seeing what's left out and why (or why not) and knowing that VGC meta will be based on SwSh and seeing different companies relaxing on preorder cancellations/return policies/whatever this is starting to feel very Fyre Fest-ish (obv less extreme) where I'm just trying to convince myself that there's a plan and then it's gonna all be a steaming pile of shit once we get there
Apparently there’s a restriction on catching wild Pokémon? If you see a wild Pokémon but it’s level is “too high” based on where you’re at in the game you don’t have the option to catch it
Yep. That was announced a while back though. You can’t capture Pokémon in the wild area if the level is too high.
Starter hidden abilities have leaked Cinderace gets a protean-like ability called Libero. Inteleon gets Sniper (RIP). Rillaboom gets grassy surge
The part that concerns me the most is if the gym/ opponents levels are too low for it not to be challenging. The move changes doesn’t really bother me.
