I was planning on going to Walmart for Luigi’s Mansion 3 but for some odd reason none of the Walmarts in my area were getting the game until two days after release.

I went to GameStop and paid them $65 instead. First world problems.

 

Are there any good pre-order giveaways or is it totally not worth it to go anywhere but Walmart? Didn’t expect to be able to pick this up at release but I’ve got a little extra cash so I’m gonna grab it and don’t wanna miss anything cool.

 

You get a steel book case if you buy the bundle....

We are sadly past the time in which TPC cared about good pre-orders. I remember the Giratina figures that came with Platinum and the Dialga/Palkia styluses that came with Diamond/Pearl. I think even Heart Gold/Soul Silver had little Luigia and Ho-Oh items.

 

What is a steel book case?

There's this really odd thing, where if you buy the game on the eshop, they send you a steelbook. Never seen that before lol

 

I don’t know anything about the mechanics of the games/system, so is it possible that GameFreak is just sitting on an update with all the missing Pokémon for down the line, kind of like how Smash adds new fighters and stuff, or is that just not how the hardware works?

 

depends on how it was coded. but that’s definitely possible although i don’t feel like it’ll happen

 

Game Freak has never done a content patch before to my knowledge, only hot fixes for bugs. i dont think we will see anything to that effect but i would be shocked if the next set of games doesnt include like 7-800 mons at least.

 

They’ve also never done a new gen in 3D! DLC is huge now so I’m holding out hope. I don’t really care either way.

 

7-800 is a pretty big margin. Why not just say 1-800? I guess you can guarantee Pika and Char lines.

 

Yeah this definitely isn't an ordinary main Pokemon game so wouldn't surprise me if they did some new things for it

Captain Toad is pretty short.

 

So, I never played 3ds because it bothered my vision, is the lite gonna be similar? Just trying to decide what console would be better
