All of these extra gyms move us one step closer to my ultimate dream of running my own gym in a Pokemon game.

 

Every other type has had a gym before now so a Dark-type gym in a game with gyms for EVERY SINGLE TYPE has me incredibly hyped omg

 

18 gyms is the best news about these games so far

 

I watched that 101 Questions Q&A vídeo and there really wasn’t anything in it. Everything related to new games other than the stuff that they released the other day was answered with No Comment (or something similar) including whether or not we’d see the starter evolutions or not.

This will be the first Pokémon I’ve bought since Ruby/Sapphire.

 

I had about a year long stint where I played the heck out of blue on GBA in like 5th/6th grade and then was no longer into it. About 3 months ago I bought the Let's Go version on Switch and it was a nice throwback to childhood, really enjoyed it. So I will be buying one of these new ones, Sword or Shield. It'll be weird for me though, because I'm really only familiar with the original 150 or however many it was and even that was about 20+ years ago until reigniting the fire with Let's Go.

 

Apparently the 18 gyms statement was not accurate

 

Probably meant 18 total between the two games with each having variations of different leaders?

Mudkip is my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Gen 3 might have the strongest starter trio.
