I was in between y'all's ages and I think I wanted the games but just didn't have a GBA to play em on and was at the point where I had to like budget money and shit haha

 

I think even B/R/Y are still good games if you look at them separated from what the series would become. I played Yellow again when it came to and it measures up to many of its console contemporaries in my mind.

 

Also I never had the to cool for this phase, I was lucky

 

Same, except I was like 9 when they came to Europe, but yeah

 

I had an SP a couple of years back that I only used to play Fire Red. One day my cat jumped up on the counter and I went to go grab her. While doing so I dropped the SP on the floor and it shattered. No more Fire Red for me.

 

I was a mod on a fire red leaf green forum when I was like 13, loved that game. And the gold and silver remakes. I should find a used copy and do some replays (I can’t let my current team be erased).

 

I think GameStop charges a super ridiculous amount for used copies.

 

I have a spare Leaf Green for any Euro that wants it

 

Yeah. Used Pokémon games are pretty much full price if not more at this point.

I would LOVE the missingno design being updated as an actual pokemon. I would be so hyped to see that in 3D with animation. Holy shit how did they not do that for an ultrabeast.

Oooh, electric psychic typing. Some Glitch ability that cause moves or abilities to randomly not work.

 

I think most people's guess right now is Farfetch'd. You can kinda make inferences from the pokedex. Hopefully they hit us with it sooner than later.

it wouldn't be galarian farfetch'd because part of the japanese name was shown and it ends in -knight. it's probably my boy sirfetch'd.

 

I would assume we get this reveal over the weekend. Tokyo Game Show seems like the right time for more reveals.

 

Ash won the Pokemon League

 

I’m super surprised the news about Ash has been picked up by so many news outlets. ESPN posted about it and it came across my Twitter so many times.

Has the Alola Pokémon League aired in English yet, or is it a spoiler from the Japanese version of the anime?

 

Wow I totally thought Ash won the league in the original anime

 

He won Orange Islands.

Do we think Ash goes onto Galar? Or do they reset? The new anime is supposed to have all of the regions in it. It’s be cool if they followed a few different characters on their ways to some sort of international tourney.
