Just submitted and Gen 3 was insanely difficult to only pick 3, and Gen 4 was difficult to pick up to 3
Thinking about this made me realise how low gen 3 is for me. Love the games and love a few Pokémon but I don't care about a lot of the Pokémon
Gens 2, 3, and 5 may have been the toughest for me to narrow down. It’s also weird to think about how few Gen 6 Pokémon there were, but it’s probably my favorite overall.
I haven't played the most recent two game gens cause I don't have a 3DS, and I bought a used copy of Diamond that I never started, so those gens are all very hard for me to decide, there's so much less experience. Still a huge fan of the black and white generation.
Shoutout to the 11 people who nominated Pokemon. I'm starting to put the submissions together in a spreadsheet to help build the brackets. One thing is immediately obvious - you all love Vulpix/Ninetails. A lot.
I'll preface this with a funny story about it. So I went to the guy with a great idea of what I wanted. I wanted All of the tails going across my back, with the arm part being Ninetales in a fire breathing stance. I gave him two examples of what I wanted, and he blatantly just combined the two designs. I was fine with that, because it still looked badass. Once he got the outline on, I'm like, "fuck yeah. This is it." He shades the tails first and it looks good. Then, he does the tuft on its head. YIKES. It just looked like complete shit. I was so upset by how the colors turned out. He said the colors would fade and look the way I wanted it to. It ended up looking like mac and cheese. Fast forward about a year. My mom lets me know the guy who did my tattoo was fired because he didn't disclose HE WAS COLORBLIND. He really didn't have much of an idea what his pallet was when he put it together. Another guy there offered to try and fix it by darkening it a bit. It looks better, but I'm still not happy with how things turned out. Ten years later, its faded a bit and I okay with where its at. tl;dr: Research your tattoo artists THOROUGHLY I can't get a good picture on my own, so here is one from like six years ago lol
Thank you for sharing. Both of you. Our lives are now so much better as a result. A freaking colorblind tattoo artist? You can't make something like that up. Holy shit.
