I'm determined to get no work done so I'm watching the Pokemon Worlds stream and apparently they're announcing some Sword/Shield stuff shortly?

 

Galarian Weezing new ability: Neutralizing Gas, neutralizes all other Pokemon's abilities

 

OH SHIT these new items look awesome

Room Service: Lowers your Pokemon's speed when Trick Room is activated (aka very much my shit)
Eject Pack: Switches the holding Pokemon out when its stats are lowered, not sure yet if you get to choose what it's switched for but I assume so? Potentially great for scouting but I'm not as excited about this one

 

Corviknight and Galarian Weezing already seem so broken haha I love it

 

As if I needed another reason to use Corviknight

 

How in the hell does competitive Pokemon Go work hahaha like how do they decide who gets invited to that, like I know I'm oversimplifying it a BIT but isn't it button mashing

im not used to doubles but since it’s the VGC format i might start playing that instead of singles

 

I've switched from like 40% doubles to 99% doubles and it's great

 

Nice would much rather fight a gigantimax Riolu for Justified than deal with it killing itself every time I try to chain

 

I'm going to put together a Google form and link it on here for people to fill out in order to nominate Pokemon for the bracket. I'll probably allow for people to nominate 3 'mons from each gen and then fill out the bracket from there. If we get a ton of nominations for a gen then I'll create a group and we'll vote for the top 2 from each group before forming a bracket.

• Mega evolution and Alola form Pokemon are not considered separate. They will be considered a part of the Pokemon because the Pokedex number is the same.
• You do not need to nominate 3 Pokemon from a Gen. You may nominate fewer than 3, or skip it all together if you really think that Gen is garbage.
• Meltan/Melmetal will be considered Gen 7 since that's where they fall in the Pokedex.

I’ll leave he Google Form recommendations open for the weekend, and come Monday I’ll post what the first round looks like.

 

Gen V was the toughest for me. I didn't realize how many of my favorites were in that gen.

 

Gen 5 is super under-rated.

I was to get 3 from Gen7. But I don’t think I could do anymore from that one....
