Preordered the package and I think I'ma play Shield while my wife plays Sword but I'll decide once the exclusive Pokemon lists are out

 

like the sword legendary a lot more, the shield mane looks super clunky, all in all though im not big on either of the two. leaning towards sword but ill make my mind up once i see more exclusives

 

I’m leaning toward Sword right now. But I’ll wait until exclusives are announced.

 

I keep considering getting back into the games but I find a lot of the newer Pokémon to be kind of uninspiring. I feel like they need to go back to a more simple approach.

 

Sword legendary actually angers me. There are so many ways to have incorporated swords into its design - razor sharp fur in its mane a la Lycanroc; do something with its tail, or its claws - but they went with the dumbest, laziest thing possible: just take a regular ass sword and put it in its fucking mouth. Like imagine if other Pokemon were designed like this. Onyx, giant snake made of boulders? Naw, regular snake with a rock in its mouth. Pikachu line, electrified mouse? NAW, regular mouse holding a cattle prod. Blastoise, turtle with water cannons emerging from its shell? ABSOLUTELY NOT, regular turtle holding a Super Soaker.

I can't wait to pay full console game price for this.

 

I agree. I really think the sword legendary is terrible and I don’t understand any love for it

Sogalia and Lunala? I think they were just fine. The Tapus were sweet though.

 

Solgaleo is kinda lame, but at least he's not just a regular lion with the Teletubbies sun baby for a face.

Lunala is amazing though.

 

Lunala always seemed really stiff and awkward to me.

 

Lunala might be my favorite legendary
