I’d prefer it even if they just said you know what guys fuck continuity we want a clean break, but don’t talk to about animations in your incredibly successful, technically pretty unimpressive (post-pixel art) series lol

 

that is pretty much why i haven't been bothered by this move at all. i've always wanted them to slow down and do some balancing by limiting the amount of pokemon available, and I don't care much about having every pokemon available to me at all times

but I def understand where the majority is coming from, and their reasoning is kind of weird

 

i wanna say theyre gonna go for adding the other mons through updates because of the fan outcry but at the same time ive never known gamefreak to be very responsive to fans' wants.

Yeah. After sitting with it for a while it’s a bummer that not everything can be transferred in.
But I bet there will be at least 500. The diversity of this region looks absurd.

 

Obviously I want as many in the game as possible, but the more they do include makes the decision to leave some out more odd to me
