These games look soooo fun. I cannot wait to sink so much time into them

 

If I end up with a Corviknight on my team I'm calling him Jeremy... which actually doubles as a Secret of NIMH reference so I'm TOTALLY calling him Jeremy!

 

I saw someone say he looks like a Jojo character and I can't unsee it

 

I wish I could get two Sobbles at the beginning. One to evolve and the other just to follow me out of it's pokeball. It's too damn cute

I wonder when the stuff about the smaller Switch is gonna come out (allegedly), I'll probably get both games but only have 1 Switch right now and my wife is interested in getting a more lite version

 

Putting money away for a full-size Switch but if a Nintendo Switch Lite(?) is released between now and the arrival of SwSh I'm going to cop that. I just want in on these games tbh!

 

I'd suggest the Switch-lite (or whatever it's called) if it comes out before Sw/Sh. I have a Switch and I predominately play it as a handheld, not attached to the TV. Having a lighter version would make a big difference.

 

Yeah my wife and I were talking about Sw/Sh and she straight up only wants to play it handheld, and I mostly play handheld with the big Switch anyway (only games I don't are Smash and Splatoon) so if it comes out before Sw/Sh I definitely want to go that route

 

plus if the Lite version is Lite-r on the wallet (or even if we can bundle it with SwSh!) that'll be even better.

 

I didn’t realize SwSh was for sword and shield, so I thought this new Switch was gonna be called the Swish.

For the new games I've been using SwSh but I've also seen them initialled as SS which uh... we could maybe NOT do?

I’ve seen Sword and Shield as ‘SS’ since their announcement, along with Soul Silver since 2010, and not until that post did I ever think someone would view it in that way. Smh

 

Yeah it's like, my brain can't NOT make that association so I just go with SwSh since it (a) sounds cooler and (b) is less likely to make me think of 1930s fascism
