The new Pokemon look really cool outside of the legendaries which look really ugly IMO.

Dynamax could be interesting, I wonder if it's item based or if you can do it alongside Mega Evolution/Z-Moves or whatever.

Leon's beard is special.

Overworld looks REALLY good.

Also I don't wanna play with other people so kinda annoyed by raiding being a thing but oh well Pokemon has always required at least a small amount of collaboration.

-Legendaries are so fucking cool. Initially wanted Shield, but now I'm not so sure.
-I like all the Pokemon introduced so far
-I'm not super into Dynamax at the moment, but the move animations look really pretty
-Max raid battles will be fuuuun
-I NEED THIS GAME NOW

 

the last time i was this hyped and flushed with Pokemon fever was picking up Gold and Silver when Target opened on launch day and realizing the game HAD A FUCKING CLOCK

honorable mentions to Black/White and X/Y cycles but nothing compared to this. getting the double pack and hoping against hope this is the game that makes it click for my gf. she loves Go but has only played Yellow and Let's Go Pikachu and doesn't love it

 

I guess Sif is a Pokemon now.

 

Idk. The dynamax thing seems pretty lame on first thought. Hope it eventually sounds better to me

Yeah I remember feeling that way about mega evolution at first and I ended up liking it so I'm sure it'll grow on me

 

I'm sorry but they're ugly as shit and (on brand) the fact that it's boring dogs yet again (now with added weapons!) makes it worse

I wanna be excited about the legendaries but yeah those look really bad IMO

Not gonna be too negative about dynamax this soon. I didn't like megas much at first but now think they were a great addition

 

the legendaries are some Gururumon armor digivlolution shit and i am HERE. FOR. IT.

 

Dynamax as a raid mechanic is very cool. as for its place in the rest of the game, we can prob avoid it outside of gym battles so whatever

 

I don't really have much of an opinion yet. I don't think I saw enough to get really excited. None of the new designs do a whole lot for me, but I have confidence that there will be some great stuff.

I think the idea of a dog with a sword in its mouth is kinda silly. Like, if the dog doesn't have the sword, is he still the poke? Is it organically part of him?

 

Henry i love you but you have a tattoo of the ice cream cone pokemon where are we drawing lines with our suspension of disbelief lol

 

Dwebble is still the Pokémon without the shell, there are others too, so I think yes?

I'm considering the legendaries more wolves than dogs and I fucking love wolves

 

I wonder if the Pokemon are always gonna appear walking around in the overworld or if it's just in that wild area thing

I think it's the latter which is interesting/cool IMO, like an actual safari

seems like they appear in the overworld in areas other than tall grass which is a nice compromise

 

it is funny to me that the badass looking murder bird is, um, an Uber lol

 

Looks like the evolved Pokemon too. Wonder if it's the main bird line
