Honestly it exceeded my expectations and gave me so much nostalgia. I loved the little individual Pokémon personality quirks and I swear Pikachu is the cutest CGI thing I’ve ever seen
I have qualms with the plot in a couple of places, but overall I loved that. Been a long 20 years waiting for something like this.
it was so heartwarming. plot wasn’t perfect but man it’s just so easy to overlook when so many things were done right
Armored Mewtwo is definitely in sword and shield and they’ll probably mostly look like this, I wonder if it’s like an item or more like mega evolution
Love the CG design style for this remake of Mewtwo Strikes Back But more importantly I watched Pokemon: I Choose You this weekend and it made me very emotional.
I'd get it if Gen 1 stuff was the only thing making them money, but look at Sun and Moon sales Vs Let's Go lol
I’m indifferent to Mewtwo. But I’m a bit bored of Gen 1. I can’t even think about picking up Let’s Go for a second play thru...
Mewtwo is sick design wise and has one of the most compelling origin stories. I didn’t like the mega evos but big fan of Mew and Mewtwo in the abstract.
Its really because Mew was only included in the game at the very last minute and its inclusion created the missingno glitches and other negative effects because some parts of the code had to be removed for them to have room.
The Pokédex is only filled when information about the Pokémon is discovered. Nothing was known about Mew other than that it existed while information was known about Mewtwo.
