Dragon in a starter is a no go for me. Too powerful a typing.

 

Just leave them as only grass, fire, and water. That hasn't happened since Gen 2.

i wonder if they intentionally didn’t have the clouds obscure much of the out-of-bounds area on the map art again, was almost bummed to not see any “the clouds are hiding a train station to Kanto and the Poke gods!” speculation this time lol

The should do the channel Islands like the Sevii Islands

 

a reputation system per town (i'm a fan of those since Fallout 2) would be pretty cool. but i don't know if it fits here, or what kind of stuff that can do (maybe lower prices in shops or something).

or any nice-to-haves (not must-haves). i would be willing to do those silly side quests for cosmetic items, or destiny knots/everstones(if they'll even have those in this gen)

 

i hate that the most exciting thing for me is what they're planning to do to improve the way people can get competitive pokemon lol

 

Could also just be a general "Trainer Reputation" or something like that, which would go up based on successful Pokémon hunts or quest completions or whatever. Although town-to-town would be cool as well, with each town having unique rewards.

 

also no doubt sobble is going to end up being a ferocious looking beast (but deep inside he/she's still an introvert)

 

we still have a few months before release, i think we still have time to send our resumes to game freak to make this happen

 

Sobble didn't want to viciously murder those other Pokémon, he just needed some peace and quiet

 

I've been saying "Put me in, coach" for years about so many different games. For whatever reason nobody has gotten back to me.

 

theres so many franchises i love that i have ideas for but would never be presumptuous enough to say i could actually work on them. that being said if you put me as director for a pokemon i can guarantee itll be the greatest game of all time.

 

Oh I'll presume all day. And night. I know better than any game dev and all of my ideas are workable and easy to pull off.

 

Wonder if gyms will return in these games

 

They were mentioned in the Direct

 

You can see like 6 gyms on the map too. I'm guessing the others are in caves/maybe underground

 

The other gyms are the friends we make along the way

 

As long as I can romance my rival in this game I'll be happy. I, for one, am ready for the first M-rated Pokémon.
