looks cool, the region looks amazing. nit feeling the starters though, kind of a weak batch so far, leaning towards the rabbit right now.

 

tbh i’d rather do the old breeding way to get the 5IV than catch 15 of the same type. i’m thinking of how quests could be integrated into the game but I’m having a hard time thinking what could be possible rewards to make them worth doing.

 

Maybe bounty hunts for rewards that could include some kind of unique hold items or specialty Pokeballs? There could also be some kind of reputation system that opens up opportunities for challenging battles against unique Pokémon variants with the chance to catch them. Idk, just spitballing.

 

I'd be all for side quests/challenges as long as they aren't the same as the Pokémon Go ones

 

Grookey is cute. I always start water though. It looks cool, but I hope it’s not just the same game with better graphics. Maybe I was just young, but I feel like Red/Blue - Gold/Silver were actually fairly challenging and then they started getting real easy. They remained fun games but I wouldn’t mind if they upped the difficulty a bit.

 

I hope the final evos look like monsters instead of humanoids, already preparing to be disappointed

 

Gold/Silver/Crystal were tough in the beginning of the game but then they get super easy, the Elite 4 for GSC is probably the easiest Elite 4 there is imo

 

Scorbunny’s final evolution had better look like jacked Roger Rabbit on fire or l’ll be very disappointed

 

Scorbunny's gonna evolve into a man in a fursuit and you know it

 

Leaning towards Sobble or Scorbunny for now. Region looks neat!

 

Also really hope one of the mascot legendaries is attack based and the other defensive to go with the sword and shield theme!

 

Sobble is definitely going to be the loch ness monster. The chameleon/invisibility aspect is kinda a dead giveaway, but that's pretty cool. Hopefully water/ghost to keep with the myth.

 

That would solidify sobble for me as my go to starter this gen.

I just want the final evos and legendaries not to be overly complex.

 

I’d love if the grass starter like stayed the same size but grew a giant tree with eyes around the monkey. Grass fairy.

The bunny should like be a giant sloth looking thing, but instead of a sloth still a bunny. Fire ground would be sick.

Water lizard should obviously become a dragon, like a blue Charizard with no wings. Loch Ness based would be perfect.

 

I was team Sobble but now I’m team Grookey. A grass monkey is great.

This is the first generation where I’m not impressed with the fire starter.

 

And the region seems interesting the more I look at the map and I’m happy. The main thing I didn’t like about Sun/Moon was the region. I’m getting Unova vibes from Galar

 

Sobble becoming water/dragon would be amazing, but I have a hard time seeing it. I feel like a dragon starter would overshadow the other two, given that even with fairy type dragon is arguably the strongest in the game.

I think water/poison is more likely.

We all know he's water/steel. He's gonna rock that shield.

 

Im really happy that, according to the video, wild encounters seem to not be pokemon go style. This was a thing that worried me because of let's go eevee and pikachu but the trainer in the video sends out a pokemon to fight the wild pokemon so I'm relieved.
