I got through some of moon but nothing pulls me back into it. Maybe it was Pokémon burnout at the time. But I feel like I gotta finish that before I get into the ultra versions (which I already have). On the flip side, if I finish moon I feel like I won’t want to dive into the ultra versions
If you don't have them by now, I'd say no. They do add one of the cooler Pokemon, and one of the coolest moves in the game, but they were super underwhelming otherwise.
I disagree. I think they're totally worth it and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon actually add quite a bit of new stuff. I would play the originals if you want the shortest experience though
They're worth a play through if for nothing else than for the chance to experience a Pokemon game that isn't the traditional 8 gym badge system. Totem Pokemon battles are pretty unique, and the fact that you can actually see which moves are super effective/not effective from the battle screen makes the game smoother to play.
I’m still having a hard time with the concept of Ultra Beasts. I’m just not that into the idea of non-Pokémon (as far as I understand they’re not really Pokémon) in a Pokémon game.
I'm still playing through Ultra Moon and I just haven't really enjoyed it. I'm on the third island I think and just have a hard time going back to it.
You know those times when someone gets really mad at you on Showdown because they lose, then you tell them that Lickilicky you're using is banded and only knows explosion and they get even madder Some people really need to stop taking this game so seriously
This year, the only one I remember seeing more than once was Kartana. Last year had quite a few. 2017 Pokémon World Championships Video Game Masters Division | Pokemon.com
A special edition Switch is being released. It comes with a downloaded copy of the game of your choice and a Pokéball Plus. While I won’t be getting this I am excited that unique designs will be used for Pokémon games similar to the handhelds. It just feels more like a Pokémon release when Nintendo does that.
0:40 mark, Pikachu's Sp.Atk at level 50 is fucking 209. Seeing that actually completely assuages one of my fears with this game, namely that Pikachu/Eevee were gonna fucking suck. No idea how it got to 200+ but it's nice knowing it's possible to make them viable.
imagine being brought on as a character designer for one of the most popular franchises in the history of media and turning in shit like this lol
I was listening to some folks talk about the whole thing and they made some really good points. Whatever we end up getting, its going to be marketable. Its going to be something like Poipole. I don't think there is any way that its a nut on top of a Ditto. lol
i suppose some textures could spruce it up but if it’s really a blob with a nut on it’s head i don’t see it being super marketable, in general the more animal-based Pokés seem to be the ones with merchandise everywhere. guess we’ll see, could be a Cosmog situation
Nearly 100 episodes of the Alola series and Ash has Rowlet, Lycanroc, and Torracat. Its no wonder this kid sucks at Pokemon.
