Haha yeah, I thought of that after I posted, but I mean, it's just making me suspend my disbelief when I'm already suspending it to the moon and back.
Just beat Roxie (gym 2) in Black2. I’m loving this game. Waaay better than B/W. And I actually really liked B/W. My current team, all between levels 13-15: Psyduck Tepig Sewadle Magnemite Purrloin I’m feeling solid on Psyduck and Magnemite as party members. The rest are borderline.
gen 5 games are so solid. i think it's the best gamefreak has ever done with storytelling, there's enough plot to be engaging but isnt interrupting you with cutscenes constantly like x/y and sun/moon. also bw2 is to me the pinnacle of what an updated version should be, probably a top 3 pokemon game for me.
I need to finish my play-through of Black 2. I think I got about halfway through the gyms, and then stuff came up and I never got back to it. I started a new play-through of X, and that took my thoughts off of B2.
I can definitely see B2/W2 ranking super high for me. X/Y are my favorites right now. They were my first getting back into the series, and I just really like the region. The story isn’t great, but I enjoy the feel of it.
That's exactly how I feel. X was the first newer Gen game I played after getting back into Pokemon. I remember getting so excited when I discovered that I'd get a Kanto started to accompany my Kalos starter.
I was too but I was also bummed because had I knew I wouldn't have taken Fennekin to start haha, I would've just waited on my fire type till then
I did the same exact thing. I'm kind of glad I didn't know about it though, because otherwise I never would have chosen Fennekin as a starter. I'm glad I got to experience the game with it. And then as soon as I beat X I went back and replayed it with a Greninja/Charizard duo and absolutely wrecked shop.
yeah the buttons are only gonna work some of the time and it'll be really hot and burn your hands if you play too long and they'll train hawks to steal your game or something
I posted this in the Nintendo thread but feel like it definitely belongs here as well: "In handheld mode with both Joy-Con attached - you are still required to move around to aim, but you press a button to throw the Pokéball." An actual quote about Let's Go Pikachu from The Pokemon Company where they confirmed motion controls are required and not optional. Sorry, Nintendo. The reveal already left a sour taste in my mouth, but that's just too much. Hard pass.
