Oh these are definitely kids games. No doubt about that. 4/5 year old is a bit a stretch. I could see this Let’s Go thing become a series that they interject between mainline games. And they go through each region every other year.
I'm curious about the concept of not having random encounter battles, and only having trainer battles to gain experience. To me, it reminds me a lot of what the anime is like. I'm still not happy that the first Switch game we're getting is a re-hash of Gen 1, but with the pairing of the next Gen in 2019 I'm happy that we won't have to wait too long for a real, new Pokemon Switch game.
I had the same start, I did beat Brock as a kid but it took a lot of grinding and even still I couldn't get through Mt Moon
I even had a Mankey but thought there was no way fighting types could be strong against rock types I mean if you're an 8 year old and you punch a rock you're probably not going to be the winner of the altercation
Anyone playing Pokémon Quest? It’s a little too hand-holdy for the first 30 minutes but I’m enjoying it
I was having this exact thought to myself the other day. I still don't understand why fighting type is super effective against rock type. I mean, I get it because it brings balance to the game. At the same time, though, it makes no physical sense.
That only works for some fighting Pokemon and some rock Pokemon. You'd have to assume some fighting Pokemon are really weak and some rock Pokemon consist of some of the strongest rocks in the world. It just doesn't overall make sense.
Most of fighting's strengths are against defensive typings. Ice, rock, and steel. The idea is that the fighter's inner focus can overcome strong barriers and break through. If you ask me, its one of the typings that makes the most sense.
Why? Rocks are strong, but fighting type can break them unlike normal. It makes sense to me. Like even the strongest burning fire in the pokemon world is still weak to a bubble from Marrill
Like.. you're trying to rationalize pokemon typing and telling us to go punch steel beams please just see how absolutely ridiculous you are being right now
I...I legitimately asked you to back up what you meant by talking about weak fighting and strong rock, while counter pointing it with fire and water. It's the same logic.
