My biggest issue is just how unbalanced Gen 1 was for typings and strength. Psychic and Dragon were too strong but also unrepresented wth only the Dragonite line and then Alakazam being the clear strongest psychic. Maybe it’ll be balanced a bit better. But I’m not sure how that’ll go with just the 150. Also, how do GO pokemon have attacks over on the switch? Do they just randomly assign 2 more attacks?
GTS will probably still be in the game, so I wouldn't worry about missing anything by not playing GO. That said, I'd be lying if I said this didn't make me want to play PoGO again haha.
I love the timing. I'll be dropping by Tokyo in 2 weeks so it's going to be fun seeing all the posters and marketing for this game. Looks like I'll be spending way more money than expected in the Pokemon Center.
it's probably just local coop. I imagine the matches are just going to become 2v2, but with the same 6 pokemon limit.
I still hate those titles. I'll definitely be getting a digital copy of this because I refuse to go into a store in public and, as a grown man, say to another grown man, "I want Pokemon Let's Go Eevee." That's super not happening.
im down for this, i worry about there only being gen 1 mons but it seems like they are working on more so this seems to just be the start.
I took a break from it for a while from it and they have really made it into a better game. The gym overhaul and addition of raids, research, constant special events etc have been great. Up to Gen 3, shinies and Alolan forms introduced. They're pretty consistently adding new stuff to the game. Still has a fairly large dedicated player base, too.
i actually just reinstalled go because im in the hospital and theres nothing to do here and the room im in has tons of mons
I will buy this but I don’t really like what I’m hearing. I’m sure it’ll end up fine, but this was not a good first impression for me.
I wonder if other gen Pokémon will be in this game. I mean, Eevee should be able to evolve into all of its different evolutions
Having a hard time picking between Eevee and Pikachu. Logically I would go with eevee since it's more flexible to have in a team and Vaporeon is one of my favorite 'mon ever, but I wouldn't want to miss out on putting outfits on a pikachu.
...I'm not even sure what that means. How far could Pikachu/Eevee conceivably stray from the core mechanics to make it not in the style of X&Y/SuMo?
