This looks so fucking cute, but I don't like the GO stuff much. I just want a game I can throw 15 years worth of collecting into.

It looks about as good as I could have hoped for. Keeps the same aesthetic, same battle style. I like the toss the pokeball like GO.
I wonder if only certain Pokémon will transfer from GO. Or else everyone will start with super strong pokemon.
Multiplayer is also interesting. Will they have their own pokemon? Or use yours?
So many questions and this’ll be fun.
I do wish there will be more new pokemon though. That’s always my favorite part.

 

We'll get gen 8 soon enough. I'm so hyped for a full console Kanto remake.

Edit: The GO transfers intrigue me. I'd love to ruin Brock's life with a goddamn Mewtwo.

 

The return to Kanto bit has me thinking it's just Gen 1.. but who knows. This is just the first announcement.
